A WOMAN has been sentenced for assaulting a female police officer and another male in South Cumbria.
Katie Gardner, of NFA, pleaded guilty on the day of her trial on September 27 to charges of assault by beating and common assault of an emergency worker.
Court documentation shows Gardner assaulted PS Burley whilst she was acting the exercise of her functions on August 6 this year in Barrow.
The 35-year-old also admitted she had beaten a man in Ulverston on the same day in question.
She was sentenced to an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £200 in compensation to the officer.
