A gallery is celebrating a 25-year partnership with a renowned landscape artist.
Beckstones Art Gallery, in Greystoke Ghyll, near Penrith, is holding its tenth solo exhibition featuring the work of Peter Symonds.
The exhibition opens on Saturday, October 5, and runs until Sunday, October 20, showcasing 26 new oil paintings of the Lake District.
Peter Symonds, a self-taught artist, has been praised for his unmatched depictions of the Lake District by his former mentor, wildlife artist David Shepherd.
Symonds' creative process begins with long walks across the fells, where he searches for the perfect composition.
His explorations often lead him to conquer all the Wainwrights, as he absorbs the beauty of the landscape.
Back in his purpose-built studio in Surrey, Symonds uses his experiences to create his masterpieces.
His paintings, known for their exquisite brushwork and incredible use of light, capture the very essence of the Lake District.
Symonds' landscapes stir emotions and convey the majestic beauty of the area.
Each painting, priced from £2,150, is a testament to his skill and has earned him a reputation as one of the finest landscape artists of his generation.
The complete catalogue of the exhibition is available to view online at beckstonesartgallery.co.uk.
Peter Symonds, who lives in Surrey with his wife Vanessa, enjoys spending his free time on the golf course or cycling.
As an enthusiastic walker and climber, he often incorporates activity into his holidays, with Scotland and Cornwall being among his favourite destinations apart from the Lake District.
Beckstones Gallery is located near the village of Greystoke, approximately five to six miles northwest of Penrith and Junction 40 of the M6.
Visitors can follow the yellow AA signs to reach the gallery.
The exhibition marks a significant milestone in the long-standing partnership between Beckstones and Peter Symonds, celebrating a shared passion for the beauty of the Lake District.
