A folk duo is set to perform in Burneside at the end of their UK tour.
Hungrytown, made up of Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson, will be performing at the Bryce once again on Friday, October 25.
The duo are known for their blend of Celtic and Americana, ballads and psychedelia, and their ability to mix contrasting emotions within their songs.
Rebecca Hall is credited for her compositions 'that sound as timeless as any traditional songs', while her husband, Ken Anderson, is celebrated for his 'instrumental embellishment' and 'gorgeous vocal harmonies'.
The pair, who met in New York City, discovered folk music after a friend lent them a collection of 1960s folk albums and a guitar, which has been featured on all of their albums.
Inspired by traditional ballads, Rebecca Hall began writing her own lyrics, which were then arranged by Ken Anderson.
Ms Hall released two solo albums, 'Rebecca Hall Sings!' in 1999 and 'Sunday Afternoon' in 2002, both produced by Mr Anderson.
In 2003, the couple moved to Vermont and decided to become full-time touring musicians.
They released their first CD, 'Hungrytown', in 2007, followed by 'Any Forgotten Thing' in 2011 and 'Further West' in 2015.
The duo spends about half of each year touring, mainly in North America, Europe, and New Zealand.
Tickets for the performance are now on sale and can be booked by calling 07340 531175 or visiting trybooking.com/uk/DUHR.
