A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after a collision in a Lake District town earlier this week.
Police received a call from the North West Ambulance Service shortly after 3.10pm on Tuesday, September 18 reporting to a collision on Chestnut Hill, Keswick involving a car and push bike.
Emergency services attended the scene and a cyclist was taken to hospital with injuries.
Officers from Allerdale police thanked members of the public who stopped and helped with the incident.
In a statement on social media, Allerdale police said: "Officers attended a road traffic collision on Chestnut Hill, Keswick involving a car and a cyclist.
"A thanks goes out to the members of the public who stopped and assisted during this incident."
