A road traffic collision in south Cumbria has left a woman with serious injuries today.
Cumbria Police were called to the incident in Kendal at around 12.54pm on Thursday, September 19.
The collision involved a car and a cyclist on Windermere Road (A5284), near its junction with Burneside Road.
The police confirmed that the car involved was a Ford Mondeo, with a woman being on the bike at the time.
The woman was said to have suffered 'serious injuries' as a result of the collision, and was subsequently taken to Lancaster Royal Infirmary for treatment.
