A police dog located and recovered stolen goods from TK Maxx and Booth as South Lakes police made four arrests.
According to a Facebook post created by the force, one of the town centre retailers reported a theft taking place at the store on Saturday (September 14).
The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
Four men from Lancashire were located and arrested on suspicion of theft by the Neighbourhood Policing Team and Patrol Officers.
