CancerCare's first Woof & Wag event raised more than £900.
Held at Abbot Hall Park in Kendal, the event attracted dog lovers and their pets for a day of activities.
The money raised will support people affected by cancer and bereavement in north Lancashire and south Cumbria.
The main attraction was the dog show, judged by Kendal Mayor, Councillor Jonathan Cornthwaite, AlannaFest organiser Katie Duffy, and CancerCare CEO Alison Stainthorpe.
The best in show award went to Nova.
The event also featured doggy stalls, a tombola, a raffle, face-painting, ice cream, and a dog soft play area managed by Taylor Made Dog Centre.
CancerCare staff and volunteers ran the event, with support from businesses from the area.
The event was sponsored by Kendal business Trybooking, which offers an online ticketing service for various events.
