Rescue team called out on a wet evening after reports of a missing person.
Coniston Mountain Rescue Team were called out to search for a missing walker last night.
The team received a request from Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team to help search for a walker who had gone missing in the Scafell area.
Incident 56 of 2024 was called in at 9:13pm on Saturday September 14.
Whilst waiting for more details, the missing person was found safe and well, having come down off the fell.
The team were made aware just before leaving the base and stood down.
