A production of a Christmas Carol, starring comedian Count Arthur Strong as Charles Dickens will now take place in Kendal.
A number of shows scheduled to take place at The Forum theatre in Barrow have had to be moved as the venue closes for up to six months while specialist work is undertaken to remove asbestos.
The show will now take place at Kendal's Brewery Arts on Thursday, November 14.

A spokesperson for Westmorland and Furness council said: "Unfortunately, it has not been possible to move or reschedule the Count Arthur Strong Christmas show that was programmed for the Forum on 30 November and the show has had to be cancelled.
"All ticket holders for this event have already been offered or have received a refund.
"We understand that the promoter has been able to secure a date for the show at another venue in Westmorland and Furness, at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal."
