CUMBRIA Police are appealing to speak with motorists following an assault on the M6 motorway involving two males.
The incident took place on August 28 at around 5:40 pm on the slip road of J36 at the Crooklands Interchange.
Officers would like to speak to drivers who were in the area at the time of the assault who may have witnessed a black Land Rover Defender (reg: 10JCG), and a silver Volkswagen camper van (reg: HX04 POA) between J37 and J36 Southbound on the M6.
They would also particularly like anyone who may have witnessed an assault of the driver of the Volkswagen by the driver of the Defender to come forward.
Police are also keen to hear from anyone with relevant dashcam footage of the incident or the moments leading up to it.
