Cumbria police posted a warning to motorists after a driver flipped a car after being 'distracted by wildlife'.
The force posted a photograph this morning (September 9) of the road traffic accident which occurred in South Lakes in the summer.
The red vehicle appears to be on its side with a smashed windscreen, sunroof and dented bonnet.

A spokesperson for South Lakes police said: "Did you know that allowing your attention to drift, even momentarily, whilst you are driving can have devastating consequences?
"The image attached is from the scene of a road traffic collision earlier in the summer during which the driver was more interested in the local wildlife than the road.
"In nothing short of miraculous circumstances, no person from within this vehicle was seriously injured but not everyone is as fortunate.
"We are committed to maximising road safety and part of this process includes encouraging everyone who drives to maintain high standards."
