A BRIDE has walked down the aisle to Coldplay at her wedding with 84 guests
Lynzi Armstrong (Crowe), a branch manager at MKM building supplies, tied the knot to Adam Armstrong, a pipe welder at BAE Systems.
The couple who lives in Walney met for the first time in the summer while in Barrow.
"I loved Adam's humour- I think he's hilarious," said Lynzi.
"Adam says he liked how thoughtful I was."
They got engaged on Good Friday in 2022 and Lynzi said it was a 'huge surprise'.
"Adam had just come back from completing Everest Base camp, we went for a night away in Grange and Adam popped the question in the hotel while we were watching Sing the movie," she said.
Their wedding took place on July 6 at St Mary's church in Walney and the reception was at Abbey House in Barrow with 85 guests.

The weather on the day was lovely and sunny but 'quite windy'.
"Adam stayed at Abbey House the night before. He and all his groomsmen got ready together in the morning and had some drinks then went onto the King Alfred to meet his group of mates and their partners before heading to church," said Lynzi.
"I got ready with my bridesmaids at my mum's in Ulverston. We had the lovely Charlotte Benson for makeup and Jo from Coco on the hair."
Lynzi said she walked down the aisle to a string quartet version of Yellow by Coldplay as they are 'huge' Coldplay fans.
"My bridesmaids, my son Dylan,16, and mine and Adam's son Myles,1, lead the way before me. The church was amazing- it's such a stunning church inside."
The newlyweds then drove to Abbey House in a 'gorgeous' Bentley.
"Adam is a keen traveller so our table plan theme was 'Where in the world are you sitting'," said Lynzi.
"We have a Labrador Called Riley who couldn't come to the wedding so we donated money to the guide dogs in his honour as our wedding favours.
"The food was perfect and the decor was amazing.
"We had our first dance to A Sky Full of Stars, also Coldplay, and everyone joined us on the dance floor with glow sticks.
"My mum and dad surprised us with a firework display which was unbelievable."
