Fire crews from Carnforth Station and Bolton-Le-Sands attended a home that was struck by lighting yesterday evening (August 24).
Firefighters from Lancashire Fire and Rescue were called around 9pm.
The exact location of the home is yet to be confirmed however is believed to be in Lancashire.

A post created on the Carnforth Fire Station Facebook page said: "Last night we were called along with Bolton-le-Sands to a house fire due to a lightning strike. When we arrived we found a first floor bedroom well alight.
"We used 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, PPV (positive pressure ventilation) TIC (thermal imaging camera) and lighting. The drone unit attended the incident so we could check the roof for any further possible fire spread.
"Electricity North West also attended to check the mains electricity was safe. There were no injuries and all were persons accounted for."
