LOVEBIRDS celebrated their 'best day' with friends and family after saying 'I do' - and were later entertained by a Britain's Got Talent magician.
Lois Jefferson, now Heighton, 27, who works for the North West Ambulance Service, tied the knot to Jamie Heighton, a 41-year-old electrician.
Britain's Got Talent finalist Jack Rhodes entertained guests with his box of tricks.
The couple, from Barrow, met as they lived on the same street as each other.
Mr and Mrs Heighton got engaged on September 16 2022 while on holiday in Corfu, Greece.
"It was a total surprise but the best surprise," said Lois.
They got married at the Town Head Estate near Newby Bridge on July 6 with 70 of their family and close friends.
"We got married at Town Head Estate because it is honestly the dream venue, the grounds, the barn everything about it. They have covered all aspects to make the venue beautiful and perfect, you couldn’t fault it," said Lois.
"We had the best day, weather was perfect. Everything was so well organised. The bridal party spent the morning getting ready while the groom's party spent the morning jumping in Windermere.
"We had a short ceremony and then went onto the reception and photos.
"The father of the bride, best man and both bride and groom did speeches and then we surprised our guests with singing waiters - they were amazing. They got everyone up singing and dancing. We then went for some more photos down the lake with our photographer and videographer before the night do started, we cut the cake and had our first dance to Kodaline's The One."
They went straight onto their honeymoon to Dubai for four nights and from there they travelled to the Maldives for a week.
The couple would like to thank especially their parents, the bridal party and the groom party.
"Tanya, our wedding coordinator at Town Head estate, organised and coordinated the wedding perfectly. She made the day run so smoothly," they said.
"Thanks to photographer Steven Hillman and videographer Matt Williamson for both capturing such special moments for us, content creator Influwed, pianist Peter Brown for playing for our guests and the ceremony, hair and make-up stylist Michelle Simm, Beth Taylor and Britain's Got Talent finalist Jack Rhodes for entertaining our guests with his magic."
