A neglected building has been transformed into a new coffee shop.
Rivers and Roads Coffee Shop has opened on Park Road in Milnthorpe, promising to be a community hub for residents, tourists, and remote workers.
The coffee shop serves a variety of beverages and freshly prepared food, and has 'super-fast' WiFi for remote workers.
It also welcomes dog walkers, with facilities designed to accommodate them.
The owners of Rivers and Roads Coffee Shop said: "We envisioned Rivers and Roads as more than just a coffee shop.
"It’s a space for the community to gather, connect, and create.
"Our services and offerings will continue to evolve based on community feedback and needs.
"We’re committed to ongoing investment to ensure this remains a dynamic and inviting place for everyone."
The new coffee shop also supports artisans from the area by showcasing their handcrafted goods.
The opening of Rivers and Roads has also created new job opportunities in the town, boosting the local economy.
The owners encourage residents to visit the coffee shop, enjoy the offerings, and take part in the various activities and events planned for the future.
The coffee shop's success relies heavily on community support.
