This weekend, horses and riders came together to compete for winning titles across a number of equine events.

The club was established in 1982 and was based at Newland Green for 30 ‘fantastic’ years before moving to Lindal Cote Farm in 2023. This provided an opportunity to expand their shows.
Today, the club is open to riders of ages and abilities, from just three years old to pensionable age.
Ulverston and District Equine Club attract over 150 members from all over Cumbria and Lancashire.
Their main show events are held from May to September, with their ‘hugely popular’ sash and championship competition in August.
