A SHOW presenting stage adaptations of true-life nineteenth century crimes from the files of Scotland Yard will be coming to The Coronation Hall in Ulverston.
Viewers will 'encounter many nefarious individuals from late Victorian London' such as the Whitechapel murderer Henry Wainwright, the Lambeth poisoner Dr Thomas Neill Cream and Jack the Ripper.
Jack's murder spree 'on both sides of the Atlantic made his name a byword for horror', the billing states.
"Faithful to the source material but employing a theatrical flourish, expect to be entertained and horrified in equal measure in this one-man show written and performed by Jonathan Goodwin," the billing adds.
The show will be on Friday September 20 from 7.30pm until 9.15pm. Doors open at 6.45pm and there is a 20 minute interval. Tickets are £13.50.
