The Westmorland Dales Festival celebrated its biggest and most successful event yet this year, attracting around 2,000 attendees.
The two-day festival, held in and around Kirkby Stephen, jubilantly highlighted the area's landscape, heritage and residents.
Featuring a range of activities focused on wellbeing, arts and crafts, and walks, the festival also showcased live music and entertainment for all age groups.
The works of artisans, producers, and businesses from the entire Cumbria region were the main attraction, presented alongside the efforts of community and conservation groups.
Chair of the Westmorland Dales Festival team, Vivienne Littlefair, said: "What a fantastic weekend!
"There really was something for all ages and it was wonderful to see so many families here enjoying themselves."
She further expressed her hope that attendees took away a clear message about the area being a great place to explore.
Ms Littlefair reflected on the festival's emphasis on fostering a sense of community, noting that "the majority of activities during the festival were free of charge, which is an important part of our ethos of bringing people together."
She also expressed gratitude to the event's sponsors and supporters and looked forward to future festivals.
The festival has been run by a small team of volunteers since its creation in 2016, marking the expansion of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
It has received ongoing support from several local groups, including Kirkby Stephen Town Council, Upper Eden CiC, Kirkby Stephen Community Arts, and the Rotary Club of Upper Eden.
