A 26-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery in Ulverston after reports of people being threatened with an 'unknown substance.'
Police were called at 12.03pm today (July 26) to the report of robbery on Market Street in Ulverston.
Officers also received further reports of incidents in the area involving a male reported to have threatened people with an unknown substance.
The man remains in police custody. The public will see a police presence in the area whilst officers conduct their enquiries, the force said.
