A man has been arrested as part of an investigation into several vehicle thefts across Cumbria.

Cumbria police have today (July 25) issued photos of a quadbike and a moped which they suspect were stolen.

The photos were obtained during an investigation into numerous thefts.

Five vehicles are suspected to have been stolen from places including Gradmere and Silloth late last year.

One suspect, a man aged 21, has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and bailed.

Officers are trying to identify the owners of the vehicles in the images.
