A popular children’s book will come to life on stage at The Coronation Hall in Ulverston.

A Little Angel Theatre, The Lowry and Rose Theatre have been working together to produce a stage version of the book illustrated by Axel Scheffler.
Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book will first appear at the Coro on Tuesday August 6 with a show at 3:30pm. It will continue on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8, with an early showing at 10:30am followed by an afternoon performance at 1:30pm both days.
The standard ticket price is £16, with under 18s priced at £14. The Coro said additional discounts are available Nursery and School Groups. Please contact the box office for tickets.
The show will last an hour, with doors opening 45 minutes before start time, and is perfect for children between the ages of three and eight.
