Breast cancer survivors from Cumbria and Lancaster took part in the Bradford Dragon Boat Festival.
Paddlers for Life (PfL) Windermere recently took part in the festival alongside 30 other teams.
The festival, which took place on July 21, saw the PfL members race against one another at Robert's Park, Shipley.
While the two crews, made up of breast cancer survivors and dedicated supporters, didn't take home any wins, they were praised for their fantastic energy on the day.
Patricia Gilligan, a PfL member from Storth near Milnthorpe, said: "Whilst neither of our teams won their races, all the messages on social media after the event highlighted that we had an amazing day.
"One friend told me that she had never done anything like this before and that she absolutely loved it."
Paddlers for Life Windermere is a charity that supports cancer survivors and their families from Cumbria and Lancashire.
They aim to demonstrate that it's possible to 'thrive and survive', all while having fun.
Usually launching from Low Wood Bay Marina between April and October, the charity is known for its lively presence on the lake.
The group welcomes visitors and cancer survivors, offering all the necessary training before each paddle.
