Cumbria's Lovingly Artisan bakery, at Plumgarth's near Kendal, was labelled the county's finest.
This accolade was part of the annual National Bakery Awards, hosted by Bakery Business Magazine, where 92 UK county champions were recognised on July 17.
Both retail and wholesale bakeries compete for these awards that celebrate the hard work, long hours, and dedication shown by those in the trade.
Winners are chosen from hundreds of competitors by esteemed industry professionals who look closely at quality, customer service, innovation and operational practices.
The Cumbrian victor, alongside the others, will be officially awarded at London's 30 Euston Square on September 25.
Here, the regional winners and ultimate National Bakery of the Year for 2024 will be unveiled.
