Representatives from the club travelled down together whether they were competing or supporting and had a 'very successful' day coming away with 'brilliant' placings, explained the Club Secretary Ellie Nicholson.
Rosie Parsons, 24, came first in Situations Vacant in the 22 to 28 years old category . This is a competition where competitors go through an interview process, apply for a job of the competitors' choice and have to provide a CV and a cover letter.
Ben Handley, 21, was placed joint third in the Situations Vacant in the 18 to 21 years old category.
Ellie said: "This is a fabulous achievement for both of them, taking part in this competition for the first year and becoming national champions."
Eve Bland, 21, Harry Cornthwaite, 18, Ben Handley, 21, and Kate Rowland, 19, took part in the Brainstrust Competition. They had to debate three topics, two from the general section and one from the agricultural section, and had to debate to a clear and professional level, awarding them the fourth place.
The fence erecting team of Will Knipe, 29, James Walmsley, 24 and Anthony Barnes, 25 were placed in fourth.
Ellie added: "We are still awaiting results from the Clay Shoot which Luke Robinson, 27, and our junior member Will, 17, competed in. All members showed great dedication to preparing for these competitions.
"It is a massive achievement to get through to a national level and to have so many members taking part is something we are very proud of."
