THE countdown is on to the return of a family-friendly agricultural show.
Ulverston and North Lonsdale Show will take place on Wednesday, July 31 at Lindal Cote Farm, Lindal in Furness, offering a wide range of events and activities.
The popular event will showcase local agriculture with visitors being able to see the showing of cattle, sheep and rabbits alongside a wide range of horse classes.

There will also be a selection of vintage vehicles shown in the main ring. The visiting Farm to Fork Roadshow will be on-site to inspire and educate about farming and where food comes from in a fun way with the opportunity to meet some animals too.
Visitors will be able to meet six-foot-long tortoises and are guaranteed to be impressed by their huge size and majestic presence.
The show will also offer visitors the opportunity to watch sheepdog demonstrations by award-winning shepherd and sheepdog trainer Thomas Longton.
Visitors are encouraged to bring along their puppies and dogs to take part in the fun dog show which will include classes for the waggiest tail, best trick and best sausage catcher. Entries for the dog show will be taken on the day from 10.30am.
The show field will also host a wide range of trade stands and stalls, as well as trampolines, bouncy castles and other fun for younger visitors in the entertainment and retail zone.
There will also be a cookery demonstration tent run by Base Restaurant Ulverston, and some craft, cookery and horticulture exhibits in the Home Industries marquee.
The show will be open all day from 9am.
Admission tickets can be bought in advance or on the gate with tickets costing £10 for adults and £5 for children (5-16 years) with Under 5s free. A family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) can be purchased for £25.
There is a free car park on-site.
