A VAN driver has been banned for six months and will have to complete unpaid work after failing to stop following a road accident.
Aaron Fleming, 33, of Willow Drive, Kendal, admitted to magistrates in Barrow that on December 29 he was the driver of a VW Transporter Van on Horncup Lane when an accident occurred, damage was caused to another vehicle and he failed to stop.
Fleming gave his guilty plea on July 8. He will have to pay £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a surcharge of £114.
He will have to complete 200 hours of unpaid work and he was handed a six-month ban from driving. His guilty plea was taken into account.
