A MAN is to give an indication of plea to assaulting an emergency worker and another Public Order Act offence.
Steven Parkinson, of Pembroke Court in Kendal, is charged with using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress towards another male in Kendal.
The 48-year-old is also charged with a common assault on an emergency worker where he is said to have acted in the exercise of a police officer’s functions as a worker.
Both offences are alleged to have taken place on March 1 this year.
He will appear before magistrates at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on July 1 for his first hearing in the case.
