A hotel in the Lake District is aiming to give its guests a good night's sleep with the help of the England football team.
The Ambleside Salutation Hotel and Spa on Lake Road is offering visitors a new package to help people suffering with sleep deprivation - The Southgate Suite.
The national side, led by Gareth Southgate, has faced criticism from fans and pundits alike following lacklustre performances in the group stage of Euro 2024.
Paul Cookson, the general manager of the hotel, said: "The hotel has been welcoming guests for over 370 years and a good night's sleep is always important, which is why we are offering the new Southgate Suite package.
"It includes soothing Clarins gifts to make the evening calmer, sleep mask, ear plugs to minimise noise, and all of England's 2024 Euro matches on demand to send people into a guaranteed deep sleep.
"It's perfect for people struggling to sleep in the recent heat and can even work on waking babies - we think it could be the best night's sleep people have ever had."
The package will be available to book in existing Loft Suite room which is available from £365.
Guests who are interested are asked to ring reception and quote the Southgate Suite so the extras can be provided.
Mr Cookson added: "We are also looking at providing an England towel, additional Clarins' products for the bathroom, and working with a local company to provide the first half of England's second game in slow motion as an additional extra."
Those looking to make the most of the deal can contact the hotel by calling 015394 32244 or by emailing ambleside@hotelslakedistrict.com.
