A BOUTIQUE hotel in the Lake District will celebrate the Wimbledon Championship finals with a special event.
The Swan Hotel and Spa in Newby Bridge will celebrate the Wimbledon Championship men and women finals on July 14 and 14 with its new Tennis On The Terrace partnership with Lanson Champagne.
Visitors can enjoy live acoustics playing while they sip on Lanson Champagne or sample a Wimbledon-themed cocktail including the Court Cooler Mojito, the Match Point Frozen Margarita, and Federer Royale with Lanson Champagne.
A tennis-themed pizza menu will also be available with varieties called Centre Court Classic with a tomato base, fresh mozzarella, basil leaves and cherry tomatoes and a second Wimbledone White with alfredo sauce, shredded mozzarella, ricotta, goat cheese, truffle oil and fresh thyme.
A spokesperson for the hotel said: "Watch the nail-biting finals unfold in the hotel’s The Swan Inn as you raise a toast to the winner – cheers to that."
