A quaint little spot in the Lake District has been nominated for 'Pub of the Year' at the 2024 Great British Pub Awards.

The prestigious awards are highly respected in the food and drink industry. A nomination, let alone a win, can often be seen adorning the inside of any pub nominated.

Judges said they received “an incredible number of entries” - but have whittled them down to the very best across the country.

This year, a cosy little spot in Cumbria was nominated for 'pub of the year'.
