A new luxury B&B has opened its doors in Cumbria.
The Grange Manor, located in Grange-over-Sands, has been redeveloped at a cost of £750,000.
Known for its woodland surroundings, the Manor is renowned for its impressive tapestry of chirping birds.
A recent count in the surrounding gardens revealed an astonishing variety of 53 species.
Margaret Denby, from Grange Manor, said: "It’s proving a real haven for wildlife.
"So much so we have decided to name the eight deluxe hotel bedrooms after some of the birds on the extensive list we’ve identified!"
Room names include Garden Warbler, Goldcrest, Tawny Owl, and Brambling, among others.
The Manor's gardens are also a haven for other beautiful birds such as Skylarks, Willow Warblers, Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Yellowhammers, Nuthatches, Swallows, and Bullfinches.
Five of the Grange Manor's eight luxury rooms are equipped with private gardens.
Each is adorned with a hot tub and a bird feeder, offering the guests a chance to contemplate nature while they relax.
Grange Manor dates from 1800; once among the first set of houses built in Grange-over-Sands, the Manor got a new life as a hotel after the Second World War.
Entrusted to the hands of Red Door Escapes, an offshoot of the South Lakes Hotels group, the Manor thrives in a location spread across two and a half acres of gardens.
Ms Denby said: "Our mantra at Grange Manor is serenity and calm.
"Because we are located at the end of a quiet lane, disturbance from the outside world is minimal so it all makes for a perfect rural escape."
Grange Manor aims to make every moment of a guest's stay special, serving breakfasts in the privacy of guest bedrooms, a hit strategy employed by its sister B&B, Bay Villa.
Ms Denby added: "This area is very much the culinary capital of Cumbria.
"What better way to enjoy all that the area has to offer while staying in our rural haven."
Red Door Escapes now holds four properties in Grange, adding to its portfolio Grange Manor, Bay Villa B&B, and self-catering cottages, Woodhaven and Hampsfell.
In addition to being a wildlife oasis, Grange Manor is ideally situated near renowned attractions like the Cartmel Races, Windermere Lake Cruises, Holker Hall and Gardens, the Lakeland Motor Museum and Beatrix Potter’s rural retreat, Hill Top.
