Despite some heavy showers, crowds turned out for Another Fine Fest as the popular event celebrated its tenth anniversary.
The festival featured a vast spectrum of artistic activity and music as crowds descended on Ulverston.
Running from Saturday until Monday, the popular multi-arts festival took place across two outdoor stages as well as within a multitude of partner venues.
The free event had DJs, bands, circus performers, artists, poets, magicians, festival traders, a whole host of food stops and a fairground for younger visitors.
Meanwhile, ten award-winning comedians gave a sneak preview of their Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows at the Laurel & Hardy Museum.
Visitors came to celebrate the event, enjoying a pint, wandering through the market, listening to a set or choosing a sweet treat to try.
One of the market stalls was run by abstract artist Jess Levine, who works as a private art teacher and runs short courses in Morecambe and Lancaster.
Jess has been an artist for more than 30 years and creates Gelli plate prints using acrylic paint to build up textures.
Based in Backbarrow, the artist was able to bring hundreds of pieces of art work to Ulverston for her second year at Another Fine Fest.
Jess said: “I think it’s a wonderful event. It brings people together and is a great celebration of life and creativity. It needs to carry on because it's really important. You can feel the community spirit at events like this.”
Among a number of street food stalls, catering vans and food trucks, Bao Selector offered Pan Asian food inspired by the cuisine found in China, Korea and Japan.
The pop-up business owned and run by Jin Caine often caters for private functions, bringing their Bao buns and dumplings to parties and events.
Jin revealed its best seller was the ‘Piggy Bao’ which is made with Char Sui belly pork and a honey soy glaze.
Bao Selector was attending AFF for a second year. Jin Caine said: “I love the vibe in Ulverston, it’s a great festival and really brings the community out. I enjoy seeing all the families together.”
They were accompanied by Lal Churrasco, Thai Kitchen in Lakeland, Yardies Jamaican Street Food and many more.
