STUCK of ideas of what to do on Father’s Day this year?

Why not head down to The Lakes Charity Classic Vehicle Show at the Staveley Recreational Ground on June 16 (Sunday) between 10:30 am – 4:00 pm.

There will be hundreds of vintage cars, motorbikes, caravans, trucks and tractors on display for you to marvel at from far and wide.

The event, which attracts over 2,000 visitors each year, will also have family-friendly trade stands, attractions, entertainment and games, as well as a diverse range of local caterers.

Windermere and Ambleside Lions Club, who are the organisers of the event, are encouraging people who own a classic vehicle to bring it along to display.

Entry to showcase a vehicle costs a minimum charitable donation of £7 per vehicle (if paid in advance) with all proceeds going to worthwhile local charitable causes.

Bring your friends and family along for what is sure to be an incredibly fun-filled day out.
