THE SECOND edition of an annual art trail is returning to a South Lakeland village.
Levens Art Trail, a celebration of local artists, makers, and creators, invites visitors and local residents to the village on July 6 and 7.
During the two days, Levens Art Trail will wind its way through the village and allow everyone to see some individual work and talk to the artists.
Visitors to the Levens Art Trail and the Levens Big Weekens can expect to enjoy a range of activities such as afternoon tea, entertainment, and marquee dance.
Levens Arts Trail team said: "The idea of the Levens Art Trail came from a desire to highlight and celebrate the work and skill of the many talented artists, makers and creative people living in Levens.
"The Arts Trail allows local people to exhibit their work for the enjoyment of others, it brings people together, nurtures community engagement and, hopefully, increases the appreciation of art within the community.”
Artist Ann Fitch said: "Taking part in the Levens Art Trail last year was a great experience. I worked with an enthusiastic team. I met many interesting people and was given an opportunity to display my work. I’m looking forward to taking part again this year."
