A PRIMARY school teacher said she is 'excited' about publishing her first children's book.
Jenny Mason, a teacher at Stramongate School in Kendal, has released her debut children's book The Great Grape Escape.
The book is part of a series titled The Fruit Salad Series.
Mrs Mason said: "The book is about a plucky, purple grape who falls off his bunch and goes on a mini adventure, learning to believe in himself and follow his dreams.
"It is very exciting to have a children's book published and I have a whole series of fruit salad stories, that I would love to share with the world.
"It has been six years in the making, thinking of a plot and some quirky characters. I do love a rhyming story."
