Firefighters in South Lakes managed to locate a road traffic accident in Kendal last night with just 'a roundabout with trees on' to go off.
Fire crews from Milnthorpe and Kendal were called to a road traffic collision yesterday (May 29) around 22.11pm.
The caller was unsure of their location with firefighters having to use local knowledge to search roundabouts with trees that matched the given description.

A post created yesterday on the Milnthorpe Fire Station Facebook page said: "We managed to locate the incident at Plumgarths roundabout, Kendal where we found the casualty to be ok
"Crews were on scene for approximately 30 minutes before returning to Home station.
"Whenever you are travelling on the roads it’s so important to always know your location to help emergency services provide the fastest response possible.
"One good app to always consider is the what3words app as it gives you a very good pinpoint location."
Cumbria police confirmed that the incident involved a Peugeot 308 and the driver was taken to hospital to be checked over.
No serious injuries were reported.
