A rugby club in Cumbria is hoping to create a veterans side for older people in the county.
Kirkby Lonsdale RUFC is currently going through its recruitment drive for the 2024/2025 season and hinted at the plans to encourage potential participants to get involved.
They said: "We've got two senior teams plus a full juniors section, with plans to develop a Vets team in the imminent future."
Formed in 1877, the club is preparing for a season in the Regional North Division Two for its senior men's side and is on the lookout for players to pull on the shirt.
Those who get involved will receive training from Level Two coaches, as well as support when it comes to finding work in the area.
