A CLIMBER was rescued by an air ambulance after falling at a Yorkshire Dales spot.
The man, 61, suffered lower back pain after the fall on May 25, reported Cave Rescue Organisation.
Team members and air ambulance paramedics assessed him, then put him into a vacuum mattress and onto a stretcher.
A spokesperson for the team said: "Team members carried this down, over the steep, rocky ground, to a more even area where the patient could be lifted into the helicopter.
"This flew down to the road near Twisleton Dale House to transfer him to a waiting road ambulance for the trip to hospital."
