A group of amateur theatre performers have asked for the support of the Lake District community ahead of opening night.
Grasmere Players are performing 'Night Must Fall', a thriller written by Emlyn Williams, from June 6 to 8.
And, whilst it is full steam ahead in most regards, they need help from locals to make sure the stage is ready for the big day.
They said: "Rehearsals are going splendidly and it's going to be a wonderful production.
"We are building a traditional box set which takes a lot of time and hard work so we could do with help wielding brushes and knocking in nails.
"We also need someone to manage props, we'd love you to join us - we're a very happy band!"
If you can lend a hand, you can contact the group via their Facebook page or by popping into Grasmere Village Hall.
