A beloved dog that went missing earlier this month was tragically found drowned.
Junior, affectionately known as JuJu, was a young male Shih Tzu who was last seen in the Moss Lane area of Holme on Friday, May 10 at around 1:30pm.
The pet went missing whilst on a visit to Holme so the family was worried he may be hiding somewhere.

Scores of volunteers had been out searching over the past ten days but had had no luck.
An announcement on a 'Help find Junior the Shitzu' Facebook page confirmed on Sunday that Junior had been found drowned.
A post said: "It is with a really heavy heart that I make this post on behalf of Junior's family, but earlier today he was found drowned in Holme village.
"We do not have all of the details yet, but things will become clearer over the next few days I imagine.
"Please can you refrain from asking questions about details, or if you have questions, directly message myself rather than Junior's immediate family.
"I would personally like to thank each and every person that has been involved in the efforts to support and help try to find Junior, it really has been a demonstration of what a true community looks like, and in a time of need, Holme village has come together beautifully.
"Thank you so much for everything Sarah Towers and Thompson Pam for rallying and driving this search for Junior, your efforts and kindness have not gone unnoticed.
"I will close this group down tonight but for now I will leave it open so that this message reaches as many of you as possible, because it’s important you know how much your help has been appreciated.
"What I will now ask, is if you are out and about on dog walks etc and you do see a poster showing Junior is missing, please do take it down and if you can dispose of this/recycle it, that would be appreciated."
