Award-winning playwright Alan Ayckbourn is staging a revival of his acclaimed play 'Things We Do For Love.'
The performances will take place at The Old Laundry Theatre, Bowness-on-Windermere, and they will start on May 17 and end on June 1.
Mr Ayckbourn is directing this run of this highly popular '90s play, marking his first time since its 1989 West End premiere.
Mr Ayckbourn has said: "I’ve always been quite fond of it; I think it’s rather a funny play, but which gets quite dark.
"I think the theme amuses me."
The story centres on career-driven Barbara, her friends, and an unexpected love affair.
Long-time collaborator Roger Glossop designs the unique 'doll’s house' set, showcasing apartments in a three-story house.
Actors Georgia Burnell, Tanya-Loretta Dee, Laurence Pears, and Leigh Symonds star.
Additionally, discounted tickets are available for students, youth, groups of 10 or more, and hardship circumstances.
