A WOMAN who failed to provide a specimen of breath to police has been banned from driving.
A court heard how Lorraine Little was stopped by police having been seen driving on Bowness Promenade on March 26.
The 52-year-old was later unable to provide a specimen of breath when taken into custody.
Little, whose address was given as Ellerside in Ulverston, admitted the offence at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court and was ordered to carry out 50 hours of unpaid work.
She was banned from getting behind the wheel of a car for 18 weeks and also ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 in costs.
