Armathwaite Hall, the award-winning Lake District hotel, has unveiled a novel 'Doggy Zen Zone' devoted to pampering pooches.
In collaboration with PetsPyjamas, the trusted dog-friendly travel gurus and ADAPTIL, professionals in dog calming, Armathwaite hall has broadened its services.
The objective is to create a full-blown Woof-Wellbeing Retreat, ensuring both pets and their owners have a calm and pleasurable stay.
Furry guests will instantly feel welcomed with ADAPTIL calm diffusers littered throughout communal areas and ADAPTIL travel sprays at reception for excursions.
The hotel's dog-friendly rooms boast a PetsPyjamas wellbeing guide with beneficial tips and a dog-soothing Spotify playlist.
Ground floor VIP (Very Important Pooch) rooms offer direct access to the patio and gardens for play.
Karen Hanton, co-founder of PetsPyjamas, said: "We want to continue to elevate the dog-friendly travel experience beyond just a dog bowl and pet bed.
"By working with Armathwaite Hall on this partnership with ADAPTIL, we are able to create something unique and special for our pets, where the focus is on ensuring they have a calming and relaxing holiday too.”
Positioned on the edge of Bassenthwaite Lake near Keswick, Armathwaite hall has an 400-acre private deer park and woodland.
Adventurous dog and owner combos can arrange guided walks with the hotel's mountain guru to explore the Lake District safely.
Dogs needn't lose out on exquisite cuisine with the hotel's A La Canine menu, explicitly designed for dogs' dietary needs.
Carolyn Graves, owner of the venue said: "We're committed to offering more than just a dog-friendly environment at our hotel; we aim to give our four-legged guests an authentic experience while maintaining our luxurious standards"
The cost per dog per night begins at £25, and guided walks with the mountain expert start from £75 per hour.
