Two leading accountancy firms have announced the successful completion of their merger.

Accountancy and advisory firm, MHA, and MHA Moore and Smalley, a company of chartered accountants and business advisers with offices in Kendal, finalised their deal on Wednesday, April 3.

The merger increases MHA's UK presence, taking its total office numbers to 22, and staff to over 1,745.

Over 400 chartered accountants and business advisers in MHA Moore and Smalley's seven offices will now become part of MHA.

The new merger is said to be a massive stride in MHA’s expansion across the UK – which has recently extended to Scotland and Wales.
