Over 100 people in Kendal came together over Easter to join in with an annual event of worship.
Churches Together in Kendal had their annual Good Friday Walk of Witness through the town, this year going from St Thomas's Church to the Parish Church.
At each venue, the participants took time to worship and mark the occasion.
The organisers said: "The weather was amazingly kind for this very special event, as it was on Easter Sunday for the Sunrise Service.
"This was held this year at 6.45am at Kendal Castle, where the sun shone gloriously as it rose over the skyline."
