NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Westmorland and Furness’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Hindpool Community Centre at Nelson Street Centre, Nelson Street, Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria; rated on March 27
• Rated 4: Ma's Kitchen at 224 Dalton Road, Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria; rated on November 28
• Rated 3: Allison's Cafe at New Road, Brough, Kirkby Stephen; rated on February 23
One rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:
• Rated 4: Ye Olde Fighting Cocks at Promenade, Arnside; rated on February 26
Plus three ratings for takeaways:
• Rated 5: Bugzy at 195 Rawlinson Street, Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria; rated on March 18
• Rated 5: Spicy Bites at 197 Rawlinson Street, Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria; rated on March 6
• Rated 4: Thai Orchid at 2 Worcester Street, Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria; rated on February 22
