A former fish and chips shop in Kendal is about to get an 'egg-citing' new life as a chicken shop.
What was once Finkle Street Fish and Chips is now adorned with signs for a new eatery called Chicken Hut.
The new storefront has a black, yellow and red colour scheme with a chicken graphic and sign.

The new eatery is not open yet as the windows are still whited out with remnants of the old fish and chips graphics shop still visible.
The unit has had a varied life and was previously also Feyz Barbers, which closed in May 2022.
Its owners applied to the former South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) to convert it into the fish and chips shop.
Before that, it was Urban Celebrity clothing store.
