PUPILS raised money for Comic Relief by pouring buckets of baked beans, mushy peas, custard and porridge over school staff.
Pupils, families and staff at Castle Park Primary School in Kendal raised a massive £534.50 for Comic Relief.
They held a fundraising activity where pupils voted for members of staff to be gunged in a special whole school assembly.
The five staff members with the most votes were the headteacher Mr Knaggs, Mrs Ireland, Miss Dollard, Miss Shaw and Mr Norton.
They had buckets of baked beans, mushy peas, custard and porridge poured over their heads.
Deputy headteacher of Castle Park School Neil Stoker said: "The children loved watching this and lots of fun was had by all.
"All money raised will support disadvantaged children and families in the UK and around the world."
