A PRODUCTION of Alice in Wonderland will take place next week at Ulverston Victoria High School, with an original score composed by one of the students.
The play is under the direction of head of drama Mike Vogler and drama teacher Heather Sweetman with the score composed and arranged by a year 13 student called Bethany. She is also the musical director in charge of the all-student pit band.
The lighting is designed by year 11 student Ethan and the production will feature puppets made by students in the art department under the guidance of the school's artist in residence Maddy Humberstone and the head of art Andrea Hine-Johnson.
The puppets (Cheshire Cat, Lydia and Lois and the Caterpillar) will be run by students.
Alice in Wonderland will run over three nights from Wednesday March 20 to Friday March 22 in the main hall at the school. The show starts at 7pm and runs for around 80 minutes.
Tickets are available for £5 on the UVHS website.
