A former church building in Kendal is set to be taken over by a northwest charity.
The Well Communities CIC announced on Tuesday, March 12 that it would be becoming the custodian of Dodding Green from April 1.
On Thursday, March 14 they will be hosting a consultation session at Skelsmergh Community Hall on Helme Lane between 5pm and 7:30pm.
The charity focuses on the recovery of people with a history of substance misuse and already has hubs in Barrow, Morecambe, Fleetwood, Lancaster, Lytham St Anne's, Preston, Kendal and Carlisle.
They said: "We understand that substance misuse can affect anyone therefore, we work with people from a variety of different backgrounds, religions and cultures and we provide support in a non-judgemental setting.
"We offer a broad range of services such as 'day-hab', mutual aid support, supported housing and social activities."
